    A Fantasy Adventurer’s Day of Elder Scrolls Meals

    In my neverending quest to bring the magic of fantasy worlds into everyday life, I decided to spend a day cooking and eating Elder Scrolls meals from the Official Elder Scrolls Cookbook.     Reading a book I DNF’d: A Court of Thorns and Roses

    To understand all the Instagram memes, I gave a second chance to A Court of Thorns and Roses. It’s the only book I’ve DNF’d. Why? I know what I like. It’s NOT YA romantasy. What happened the first time? I listened to the audiobook. When a wolf creature bursts through your door to get you to come with him because ”I have land”, I lost it.     5 Little Things I Learned From a 24-Hour Readathon

    For the first time in my life, I participated in a readathon. Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon, to be precise. My goal was to stop being a ”fake reader” and get back into the habit of reading. And dig into my TBR pile of Wheel of Time books. 1. Focus? Is that some kind of food? I remember the time when I could read for hours non-stop, neglecting hunger and toilet breaks. 15 years later, I’m stopping every 15 minutes to check on my phone, even when I’m reading a fantastic fantasy book.
